After arriving at the perimeter of the Tsinkada Void and finding no trace of the Garallon, we have now proceeded into the expanse. Tension is high in this place, a presence of some kind appearing to shadow us and interacting with the conscious minds of the crew in a manner that defies logic. Dr Riven has managed to create a psi bubble to protect us from the effects of this presense and has assembed what can only be termed, a 'telepathic relay', between those of the crew that possess such abilities, myself included, in order to bolster its efficacy.

Initial scans via our Class 2 probe have identified what appears to be a warp signature, but the size of that signature excludes the possibility that we are seeing the Garallon. It is my belief that what we are seeing is its warp core, although why it has been jetisoned I can only speculate at this moment in time.
The [[USS Spectre]] now sets out on an emissary mission that may hold one of the keys to success in the battle to reclaim the fallen worlds of Tellar, Bajor, Andoria & ultimately, the final onslaught to retake Sector Zero One. If the communiques are indeed legitimate & the USS Alacrity's Commanding Officer honours his claim to defect, then before long, 52nd fleet command may be in receipt of the entire Doenitz command structure & then some. The flip side of the coin however could give Doenitz himself the entire command structure of the 52nd, should this all be one big elaborate ruse.

Premise:-


The [[USS Spectre]] is what is known as a Black Ops vessel, this means that when a mission calls for covert operations, particularly beyond enemy lines or in enemy space, the Spectre is the ship that is called upon. She is unique in the fleet in that she is fitted with a phased cloak in order that she may carry out these most special of missions.  
The [[USS Spectre]] has received orders to investigate claims that a number of vessels previously loyal to Admiral [[Doenitz]] are intending to defect. Initial indications are of a valid situation, the 52nd are indeed taking the claims seriously due to the possible gains of receipt of the database files of the USS Alacrity, which amongst other things, will detail the Admiral's key placements in & around the Mars Defense Perimeter. Should things go wrong however, the price will be high as Admiral Doenitz might just end up with the fleet placements of the 52nd itself.


The Spectre fought the "''war without a fleet''", in the [[Federation Civil War]].
The Alacrity is currently reported to be awaiting rendezvous within the Arachnid Nebula, the location being specifically chosen so as to prevent the likelihood of either vessel targeting & firing upon the other during initial negotiations. Tension of course is expected to be high, the mission is fraught with danger but the rewards could be limitless.


She is currently under the command of Captain [[T'Vhor]] who was promoted to Captain after her previous Captain [[Remae Ktell]] was involved in a landmine incident on the occupied planet Betazed which cruelly robbed him of his lower limbs.

"It is with a great deal of relief that the President has now been transferred
to the USS Steel Talons & is now under the protection of the 52nd fleet commander,
Admiral LoDona. The Spectre has returned to Starbase Geneva for repairs & essential
maintenance, thus bringing to an end our current mission"

inevitably, & due also to the fact that Geneva has a rather large number of
drinking establishments, some have returned in a state that can be best described

2407.01.17 - The USS Spectre mounts an away team mission on Betazed under the command of Captain Remae K'Tell to retrieve Debora Ansara, the niece of Federation renegade Admiral Rodrigo Doenitz. The Mission is a success but Captain Remae suffers an accident resulting in the loss of his lower limbs and is duly medically incapacitated from duty. First Officer T'Vhor assumes command of the Spectre.
"It would seem that our saboteur, or perhaps saboteurs were more busy on board than
we at first suspected, for just this evening & whilst docked at starbase, the Spectre  
was rocked by the effects of yet another device seemingly designed to directly destroy
the VIP Quarters assigned to President Nell whilst he was on board. Needless to say,  
it's activation preceeded his departure & our only casualties were Lieutenant Commander
Rogers & one of the Geneva Engineers. The First Officer has now been judged as
incapacitated from duty thus leaving the ship without a second in command & our repair
time estimation has been unjustifiably extended by at least another week"


2407.02.02 - As a direct response to information received during the Betazed retrieval mission, the Spectre is ordered into Romulan space under DOA (denial of awareness) clause, it's mission, to find and retrieve the usurped Federation President, Rondar Nell.
"Our next mission is once again, swamped in secrecy. Admiral LoDona was
not entirely forthcoming with it's specific details at our meeting, but suffice to say,
I have been informed that a number of vessels from Admiral Doenitz ranks have now
declared intent to defect. The Spectre, it seems will be sent as an emissary
to investigate & offer assistance as necessary, pending full evaluation of the  
situation."


2407.02.05 - Rondar Nell is found living in a forested camp on Carraya IV and is subsequently transferred to the Boudicca.

2407.04.15 - Reports to 52nd fleet command signify that Captain Talasario of the Doenitz loyal vessel USS Alacrity, intends to defect with a significant intelligence database along with four other vessels. The USS Spectre is ordered to the Arachnid Nebula to effect rendezvous and assessment of the situation.
