In 2407, when the planet Iradon crossed over into our universe, Cereus was advised of the crash landing of [[Rank|Lieutenant Colonel]] [[Eva Straton]], who had encountered the planet at the time of it's appearance.  Suffering from a chemical imbalance in her brain and amnesia brought on by an acute blow to the head suffered in the crash of her runabout, Eva was convinced by Cereus that she was the [[The Anointed|Anointed of Alazara]] and destined by prophesy to lead an army of [[Iradonian]]s in revolt against their oppressors.

Among her devotees were the Priestess [[Bowen]] and [[Arania]].  It was discovered that her sect had been the guardians of ancient [[Iconian]] artifacts, that became critical to the rescue of the away team from the Boudicca, who had been sent to rescue Straton. In her first temple [[Matthew McLaren]] discovered such an artifact after deciphering a series of musical tones that opened the central alter to reveal the device. As a result he became a member of the religious mythologies and is known as the ''Builder of Automotons'', while [[John Linskens]] became known as the ''mouthpiece of the Goddess'' when he was temporarily overcome by some external force that was never explained.
