| On completion of her repairs and the training scenarios, the USS Champlain received orders to join Task Force 19 in the Tellar System. On arrival, the Task Force Commander, Admiral Sevant, briefed the senior staff of the Champlain on their part in the final push for Earth. A task which promises to be hard, dangerous and with little chance of survival. Task Force 19 is to make a hole in the Mars Defence Perimeter, allowing the rest of the ships aligned with the 52nd to pass through and attack the standing fleet at Earth itself.
