Dolax Vega II

Dolax Vega II is a planet located in the Alpha Quadrant that was home to the Dolax colony. The planet is situated in the Ikev Sector and is adjacent to Cardassian space. The colony was primarily a mining and agricultural facility, and was responsible for producing raw Tritanium Ore for starship construction.

There were roughly 30,000 families located on the planet, along with a small Starfleet repair yard and a few hundred Starfleet personnel.

In 2379, a terrible outbreak of Telurian plague rampaged the colony. The plague is so virulent that all the colonists as well as the starfleet personnel stationed there succumbed and a strict quarantine was established. Automated warning beacons were placed in orbit and the planet is officially off limits. Among those killed there were the parents of captain Sarah Brightman.

This planet was first mentioned in the USS Rosenante Mission: The Gilded Man.
