Fala Taban graduated the Academy with honors. His final project being a historical study of the wormhole aliens that his people called the Prophets. He gathered all the data which had been taken previously and was actually able to go on a starship with one of his professors to study the wormhole in person.

During his time at the Academy, he befriended two humans: [[Christopher Adams]] and Tom Stratton. They became good friends and all graduated at the same time. They enjoyed a drink at the 602 Club before heading out on their assignments post graduation.
