T'Lela was a Sub-Centurion in the Romulan military when Chance first met her.  After courting for two years, the young couple were married days before the Federation-Cardassian War.  When the war started, T'Lela returned to Romulus with her father.  Chance joined the Irregular Federation Forces.  During the war, T'Lela was murdered by a fellow P.O.W. during an escape.
