His father, Gi’ral, considered very important that H’retor was not only a warrior, but someone who could also understand things. Knowledge was very important to Gi’ral and he taught his son all he knew. Gi’ral also talked a lot about the Federation and their value to H’retor, and H’retor has since then always remembered how much respect his father had for the Federation.
