An Irrol male

The Irrol are a nomadic humanoid species. Their planet of origin is unknown.

They have not made contact with the United Federation of Planets, although they are known to the Tholians and the Romulans. They are often employed by both species as general laborers.

They are telepathic.

Mirror Universe[edit]

The Irrol were known to the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance by 2376, The Cardassians had discovered that the Irrol were susceptible to certain types of telepathic conditioning and had begun a project in that year to experiment on the Irrol.

They captured an Irrol Nomad vessel, and forcibly moved the ship's inhabitants to Monor Base. There they began a series of Experiments on them.
