Physical Description

With flaming red hair, pale skin and violet eyes with large, dark pupils, Jezebel is not easily overlooked. Her features are regular enough, though not conventionally pretty - her nose perhaps a little pointed, her chin rather determined and her mouth a little on the small side - but it's the animation in her expression and the twinkle in her eyes that give her face its character.

Family and Background

The only child of a short-lived marriage between her human mother and her Betazoid father, Jezebel grew up living on Terra with her mother, whose looks and temper she inherited. She did, however, spend long vacations with her father's family on Betazed, and perhaps unusually for a hybrid Jezebel felt at home on both planets. Her paternal grandmother taught Jezebel much about their race's history and abilities, and helped Jezebel to develop the empathic sense that was her inheritance from her father's family.

Personality

Cheerful and optimistic, with a sense of humour. Can lose her temper if provoked.

Education

Both her parents encouraged Jezebel's interest in science, and on matriculating from school at the top of her class, Jez had her pick of university places. She chose to attend Cambridge and graduated with a first-class honours degree in Xeno-biology. She then applied for and won one of the few coveted exchange placements at the Vulcan Science Academy where she gained her PhD. She then spent a year on Betazed, perhaps as a contrast to the time she had spent on Vulcan, before applying to enter Starfleet. Since graduating from Starfleet Academy Jezebel has served on various science vessels.

Skills

Jezebel is a knowledgeable xeno-biologist. She also has an interest in anthropology and xeno-psychology. Due to her mixed heritage, Jezebel is also an empath, able to detect emotions but not thoughts except from family and certain close friends.

Hobbies

Jezebel plays the flute for relaxation, and also plays cards quite skilfully. Possibly thanks to the time she spent on Vulcan, she has an excellent poker face.
