Her life began on [[Betazed]] before she joined [[Starfleet Academy]] once turning 18. Soon after her third year in the science program, she began to realize that [[Starfleet]]’s aims were not the same as her own. Working in secret, she began to try and develop weapons using [[Borg]] [[Nanoprobe|Nanites]]. Her research project was discovered and she was court-martialed.
