The capital city of Cait, Knassis is located on the northern continent of the planet roughly sixty miles from the village of Chtarr.
This city was the location of a secret Doenitz Telepathic Research Facility. The facility was hidden beneath the city and was performing immoral medical experiments upon a variety of sentient beings during the Federation Civil War.
Once the facility was destroyed by crewmembers from the 52nd Fleet starship, the USS Nimitz, the city revolted. That revolt spread across the planet and marked the liberation of Cait from the Doenitz regime.
