A [[Moonglider]] is a resilient flying mammal native to the marginally [[Class M]] planet of [[Xega III]]. Their primary diet is that of scavengers. They consume small insects, some of the more tender plants and small reptiles. They are considered harmless and are known for their nocturnal habits. Β

The animals are fairly small measuring just seven inches in length when full grown. They are natural gliders, and tend to inhabit areas that are bordering on cliffs or other tall rocky terrain. It is believed that they were once adapted to living in arboreal forests, but that they evolved to fill their current niche in the environment after the Xegan sun went [[Supernova]].
