Nayeli is average height but cuts an imposing figure due to her tendency toward intensity, both in stance and attitude.

==History and Education==

===Family and Background===
Nayeli is preceeded by 20 siblings and half-siblings. She has a further 12 sibling and half-siblings younger than herself.

Because of her position as a JAG Officer and as an undercover operative, Nayeli has not had opportunity to pursue a family and while she likes the idea of a traditional Denobulan family, she understands and accepts the curtailing of this as she is also very much enjoying her work as a Starfleet Officer. As a Cadet, she had noticed another Denobulan by the name of [[Viskhard]] and thought he would be a good husband, but he took no notice of her then. She found this rather odd but didn't pursue it actively as her own studies kept her busy and she thought he must be focussing on that himself.

Entered Starfleet Academy after achieving top marks in her secondary education on Denobula.

===Personal History===

====Pre-Starfleet History====
Born in 2380 to a traditional [[Denobulan]] family grouping.

Nayeli had a typical upbringing and enjoyed playing Pan Zan. She captained her High School team three years in a row and was a first string player at the Academy.

====Starfleet History====

Nayeli was invited to join the Judge Advocate's Office upon graduation from the Academy in 2403. Her majors had been Flight Operations and Command. She completed a further year of studies on Federation Laws and Regulations while she was working as Yeoman to Commander Arthur MacGowan. She continued in this capacity until the outbreak of the [[Federation Civil War]], during which she was seconded to a small transport vessel and promoted to full Ensign.

During the Civil War, Nayeli was an undercover operative for the [[52nd fleet]]. She work aboard the transport vessel and helped to ferry important dignitaries to and from Earth, using their diplomatic immunity to also ferry Academy Graduates to Starbase Geneva. Her training as a JAG Officer allowed her to be one of a series of "screens" that made a final assesment of candidates for the 52nd fleet, which she would report upon arrival at Geneva.

After the Civil War, Nayeli was promoted to Lieutenant jg and posted to Earth to work in the JAG Offices, first as an assistant JAG and then as a Senior JAG Officer. Having been cleared to try cases as the senior representative, Nayeli was transfered to Starbase Geneva and promoted to full Lieutenant.

Following the [[USS Rosenante]] Mission to the [[Asrai]], Nayeli was assigned to observe the crew. This was a direct result of their violation of the [[Prime Directive]]. Nayeli doesn't like to babysit in this fashion, but orders are orders.

Nayeli has been a trained, freelance intelligence operative with SFI since her assignment under Arthur MacGowan. Aside from the standard courses taught to operatives, Nayeli has received training suitable as enhancements to her work as a JAG. Specified courses include: Advanced Command Interrogation, Advanced Communication Encryption/Decryption, Computer Hacking, Forensics, Negotiation, and Surveillance.

Her primary orders from SFI are to monitor and do damage control within the JAG as needed. She has discretionary power in her assignment and may choose to second those orders if there is a more pressing need.
