Pergium

Pergium is a mineral important in transtator technology. Janus IV, homeworld of the rock dwelling race of the Horta, is the only known naturally ocurring source of this mineral. Though it can be synthesized or fabricated, it is less expensive to mine. Janus VI is a world which is a treasure trove of minerals and metallic ores, well able to sustain the Horta race and support the human mining colony for many hundreds, if not thousands, of years.
