The [[Soldarin Monolith]] was an ancient device located in the main foyer of the [[Soldarin Archives]] on [[Kadyl]]. It was designed to act as a physical database to all the minds linked to the Archives through the [[Soldarin Memory Extraction Machine]].

As it possessed a written script it was instrumental in learning to understand the function of the device. It's use allowed the minds of trapped Rosenante crewmembers to communicate with their prior shipmates in order to aid in deriving a solution to their problem.
