1. Thus sayeth Marine Executive, Richard Ian Lee: “In times of battle, never falter. Your courage and your wits must always be on you as armor. Though thou shall be in hopeless situations, you shalt never give up and crawl home in the deluge of defeat, but instead press on and hold thy head high in the winds of Victory.

1. Thus again sayeth Marine Executive Richard Ian Lee, “As a Marine, there are many things that you must know to be successful. For verily, there is much to know both in technology and of a Marines State of Mind. Lack of knowledge in either is both foolish and deadly, so listen closely to my words, and I will teach you all I know that you might continue on and live for the Marine Corps and the Federation for which it serves. Here, so promised, is the units and family organization for which you will be fighting in.

I did this as a joke when I was bored one day, it kept growing as I went. And now I pass it around for a chuckle.

The Marine Bible: Book of Lee[edit]

The History: The Marine Bible: Book of Lee was written by MXO 2nd Lt Richard Ian Lee, then of the Nimitz, as a guidebook for new Marines to follow after graduating from Marine training and attaining full status in the fleet. It is a continuously revised edition that enfolds modern strategy with traditional training and theory. As the corps matures, so does it.

The Book of Lee: Foreward[edit]

1. In the beginning, there was the Federation. And the Federation was Good.

2. And from the Federation spawned the Star Fleet, and officers and vessels to fill the fleet. And engineers and scientists to study new life and build new equipment to keep the fleet in good running condition.

3. And the Federation looked on, and saw that the Starfleet was Good, and smiled as they expanded the fleet to include both defense and exploration.

4. And then, came dark and dastardly races, bent on destroying the Star Fleet and the Federation which it served, and Starfleet called out loudly in askance for a group of persons that could defend the Starfleet and the Federation from outside attackers on the ground, and in space. A group that would train hard, and die harder for the cause in which they where created; the defense of liberty and the security of the Federation and all the peoples contained within.

5. And from the ashes of battle, came a group known as Starfleet Marines. Their name a powerful symbol of Federation power and Starfleet willingness to fight when needed.

6. And the Marines did form a Corps, that they might train and fight side by side as brothers. That they might crawl through holes, and fight in pits and on mountains. That they might excel in the hottest deserts, and the coldest tundra’s.

7. And the Corps did grow, to include specialists and general troopers, that together they might face a general foe and win against all odds.

8. And that Corps did grow, to become the best-trained hand to hand combat specialists that the universe had ever seen. Both in peace and in war, and the Federation did look upon them and smile, for verily they were good.

Chapter One:[edit]

2. “For Always shall there be strife, and in strife a Marine excels. There shall be many times thou shalt want to give up, but trust instead in the wisdom of command while keeping a wise head about you as well, and you shall do well.

3. “And in times of worry, when you know not if you might survive and are lacking in courage and in the necessary toughness required for survival, doth remember the following words and let them give you strength:

4. “Thou I talk the talk, and walk the walk, I shall fear no evil. And thou I might be blown into the sky, through the pearly gates and land at the feet of the Lord head first: Via Heavy Explosives: I shall fear no enemy and shall target them as mine enemy likewise targets me. For in my heart of hearts, I know I fight for a good cause, for the Federation and my family, which doth live therein.

5. “For verily I knowest that I am important to the Federations defense, and that my life though given, is given freely and at high cost to those who would attack the institution for which I live and defend.

6. “In the Name of the Federation, The Starfleet and the Marine Corps we do pray: HOO WAH!

7. And when he was done, MXO Richard Ian Lee did sit down before his squad, and proceed to tell them of their heritage and of the future of the corps.

Chapter 2:[edit]

2. “The most sacred trinity, which you shall serve, shall be the Federation, Starfleet and the Corps.

3. “It is this trinity that you serve, and no other shall you help unless so ordered by your superiors and in good cause. The Corps is your family while you serve, and as family shall you treat your fellow brothers and sisters that make up your squad within the corps.
