The Toto Civilisation

Data collected by Professors Peterson, Wood, Monsarrat and Holland

Continuing research by Miss Peterson

History

Although shrouded in mystery the Toto appear to have been an advanced civilisation that spanned both the beta and alpha quadrant. The name Toto comes from a reference from a number of sources but mainly from the Bengany people in the Cataran system but it is believed that this is not their given name. Totoyo the Toto’s home world is believed to be an M-Class planet which was densely covered jungle. (Peterson)

Physiology

From the limited data that have been found over the years the Toto appear to be humanoid bi-pedal in nature and at least live comfortable in earth like environments and other M-Class planets. (Holland)

Science and Technology

It appears that the Toto civilisation at its height was spread between the beta and alpha quadrant. It appears that this was originally done by starships called Biign (Fish) which travelled along the Wawe (River). There have been speculations that the Wawe the Toto mention is the Subspace River that was discovered by the scientists at the Cochrane Research Facility. (Wood)

Society and Culture

The Toto culture was an enlightened one of literature, arts mathematics although they still believed in spirituality and a lot of their history was passed on by myths and legions. This was all displayed in the grand planet library of E’mbachapak which was subsequently destroyed when their civilisation fell.

There is not much information about how the Toto civilisation was destroyed but from the information that could be found it was quick and bloody. There is mention that even the grate Kurudneri (Sky Spirits ran from the fall. (Monsarrat)
