Located in the [[Beta Quadrant]] between the [[Romulan Star Empire]] and the [[Delta Quadrant]], this expanse of space is known to have strange temporal qualities in some areas. In 2370 the Expanse and the space around it was still largely unexplored. No further exploration has taken place since the beginning of the Civil War. The [[USS Champlain]] captained by [[Edward Wolfe]] was recently dispatched to chart that area of space and patrol for evidence of [[Doenitz]]'s forces. | ||
