The [[USS Bohrs]] is a small science survey vessel of the [[Mission Scout]] type employed by the [[United Federation of Planets]]. The Vessel is large enough to handle a survey party of six personnel for a short period of time.  The vessls are usually employed for First Contact and Cultural Surveys on worlds not yet contacted by the UFP.

In 2413, the [[USS Bohrs]] was on such a mission near the planet [[Irlix]]. They were conducting a follow-up survey to determine the potential origins of a Federation warp signature that had been detected in that system by the crew of the [[USS Champlain]] in 2406.
