The USS Exeter-C is one of a new breed of [[Exeter Class]] cruisers. Following the Reopening of the [[MARS]] Base, and the reorganisation of StarFleet Admiralty in the months following the Incident; the Exeter was finally finished, with state of the art weaponry and tactical systems. Their mission, to begin to reform strained links within the [[United Federation of Planets]] and also begin to turn the eyes of exploration outward once again.

The crew of the Exeter are young, though highly able and keen. They have often found themselves forced to deal with intense situations that require the firepower and instincts of a combat-ready crew, but also have found themselves in situations requiring personal action, acts of heroism, leadership and the desire to forge ones own destiny
