Commanded by Captain Archibald Stakes, the Rose of Samarkand is a modified sovereign class vessel designed as a keltoi-killer.
Sister ship to the USS Star of Samarkand.
Captain Stakes and his crew defected with the Rose to the 52nd during the Civil War.
