== Biography ==
 
Jason French grew up in Tomball, Texas, a suburb of Houston. He then moved to East Texas where he went to high school in Lindale, Texas and graduated in 1990. Jason then moved to Austin where he attended The University of Texas at Austin and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in 1996. He worked for Lone Star InfoSystems in Austin during college and for a couple of years afterward doing IT work and programming Microsoft Access and Lotus Notes databases. In 1998 he moved back to Houston to start working at Atomic Games as a programmer on Close Combat III: The Russian Front and Close Combat: Battle of the Bulge. Also during that year he met Jennifer and they started dating. They married in 1999 and had their first child, Abby, in 2000. Soon afterward, everyone moved back to Austin where Jason started working for Electronic Arts - Tiburon. He was a programmer on Madden NFL 2002 PC and a lead programmer on Madden NFL 2003 PC, Madden NFL 2004 PC, and Madden NFL 2005 PS2/Xbox/GameCube. In 2003, Jennifer and Jason had their second child, Emily, and moved from Austin to Orlando, Florida. In 2004, Jason was promoted to Development Manager for Madden NFL 06 Xbox 360. In 2005, Jason’s third daughter, Isabelle, was born. In 2006, he moved over to a non-Madden game for the first time in five years. But, it was still a football game. This time a football strategy game, NFL Head Coach, which shipped in 2007. In 2008, he got a new job at TimeGate Studios and moved the family back to Houston, Texas. At TimeGate, he is currently the lead programmer on Section 8.
