Physical Description
Due to being an El-Aurian, Zara looks like she's still in her thirties, despite being over a hundred years old.
Family and Background
Zara was born in 2340 to a pair of El-Aurian refugees on Pluto. In 2358. her parents went through a nasty divorce. Instead of going to life with one of them, she left Pluto for 3325 TARDIS and became a veterinarian. (A job both her parents disapproved of.) In 2436, she met Hank Samuels and the two of them got married. They then moved to the Trill home-world to get away from her parents. When Starbase Freedom was constructed, Hank was assigned to its Trill security team, so they moved there.
Skill and Abilities
Zara is good what she does, having a knack for improvisation. She also has a firm grasp of both animal biology and virology. And with over eighty years of experience, knowledge of animal psychology has also sneaked in, despite the fact that she doesn't have any official papers for this.
Recreational Interests
Zara likes to paint. She met her husband Hank when they both attended a painting class on 3325 TARDIS.
