23th Task Force

History

The 23th Task Force was created following the promotion of Admiral Jopek to the command of the 52nd Fleet, following Admiral LoDona dismissal. The Task Force is mostly composed of the same ships that composed the 52nd Fleet first Task Force back during the Civil War with the addition of several science ships for the purpose of exploration. It is currently one of three task force composing the 52nd Fleet, which is assigned to Sector 6309 a sector at the edge of Federation Space.

The Task Force primary missions are to continue exploration of Sector 6309 as well as maintain close surveillance and protection of the Federation border with the Romulan.
