Name: Ayesha Kotal
Eye Colour: Gray-Blue
Hair Colour: Black
Blood Color: Red
Skin Color: Brown
Aya takes after her human mother, with her almost blue-black hair and the cafe-au-lait tone of her skin. Her grey-blue eyes also come from her mother's side of the family, descended as she is from the old earth region of Afghanistan. She is tall and slender, perhaps even slightly on the this side, and her face is an almost perfect oval, with her mother's high cheek-bones and almond-shaped eyes.
Family and Background
Born on the USS Devonshire, where her father worked as a counsellor and her mother as a science officer, Aya spent her early years on the ship with her parents. She has an older brother and a younger sister. Her brother is a science officer, and her sister is a doctor, both serving on Starflleet vessels.
Educated first in the school on board the Devonshire, and then she and her siblings spent most of their secondary years at a school on Betazed, living with their grandparents on their father's side, since her parents felt she and her siblings should learn something of their father's culture. Aya went to the prestigious University of Khabul on earth, this time living with her mother's family and learning of their culture, where she studied Psychology.
Part-time post-graduate studies in Psychology and languages.
Four years at Starfleet Academy, specialising in counselling. The Palladin is Aya's second ship assignment, the first was to the hospital ship USS Marie Curie working with Starfleet personnel suffering from post-traumatic stress syndrome.
Nothing of note.
Likes to play an old earth game called snooker on the holodeck. She has a favourite program which she often runs, a club/bar in Newcastle called "Percy's".
Empathic, which together with her knowledge of the body-language of the major Federation races adds to her counselling skills.
