The Priestess Bowen

Bowen was a priestess of the goddess Alazara on the planet Iradon. She was the local leader of a sects rebellion against the male-dominated nobility that ruled that world.

In 2407, when the planet Iradon crossed over into our universe, Cereus was advised of the crash landing of Lieutenant Colonel Eva Straton, who had encountered the planet at the time of it's appearance.

A rescue party from the USS Kitty Hawk peopled by USS Boudicca crew was dispatched to bring Eva safely home, although the Prime Directive was violated repeatedly to do so.

Bowen was intrumental in assisting the away team to locate Straton, as well as come to an understanding of the phenomenon that was affecting all their equipment. It was with Bowen's permission that Matthew McLaren inspected the altar in the sect's first temple. His discovery of an ancient Iconian artifact there, gave him a better understanding of the problems that faced the away team. he was titled the Builder of Automotons by John Linskens when the later became possessed by some unknown entity.

Bowen accepted the title and as a result was willing to lend aid to the away team. She provided some soldiers to escort them to the High Preiestess Cereus, although they didn't need to go that far. The party was attacked by the enemies of the cult and then subsequently rescued by Eva Straton, who was still under the belief that she was the Anointed of Alazara.

Bowen remained in charge of the temple at the time that Iradon returned to it's universe. --

Bowen was first seen in the USS Boudicca mission The Anointed
