The Research and Development Department Archive Section is a large repository of star ship designs. It was designed so that the R&D departments on Mars and Utopia Palencia could have a hands-on easy access to every star ship design stretching across the eons. The designs are mostly Federations star ships but there is a large collection of star ship designs from the major races and a few from lessor races across all four galactic quadrants. | |||
Most of the data is on the archive mainframe but there are some which are on hard copy and are kept in the vault. | |||
With the appointment of [[Aleese Akess]] the new Senior Archivist the repository has been expanded with her personal collection of star ship designs. | |||
