  • Good work, the only thing I will say, is to cover the facilities that you have listed there are going to have to be at least couple dozen people with medical degrees (Probably more) and more than 50 nurses. Figure that you need enough people to run all the facilities at once, or close to it. Figure 2 to three doctors and four nurses per operating rooms. one doctor per intensive care ward (not bed, but one for each facility), and one nurse per bed in the ICU. To run the emergency rooms you are going to need 6 or so doctors for a regular ER unit, and a dozen nurses or so, just to run the 4 ER's you are going to need your fifty nurses for just the first shift of the day. The 50 wards are going to need nursing and doctor staff. Just doing some rough math in my head, figure that per shift (three shifts per day to make it easy), the hospital is going to need roughly 125 nurses, and probably 50 doctors of various specialties (Emergent care, surgens of various specialties, anethesiologists, psychiatrists, Internal Medicine, Immunologists, Diagnosticians, Radiologist, etc.). So 375 nurses and 150 doctors in total (again, just a completely rough estimate from watching to many medical dramas over the years and working in the research wing of a hospital at the moment). This is assuming that the hospital is a full working hospital, that can handle a lot of the traffic on the mars surface, including some from the civilian areas of mars. If it is something less then you can dissregard all of the above. Again, this isn't to be nit picky, just helping you flesh out the hospital, trust me when you put the above staff on top of all of the medical technicians, and administrators that would be needed as well, You now have a whole mess of possibilities to play with as head of the whole lot. -User:Pdennett
