Family and Background

Very little is known about this secretive woman who has spent nearly all of her life living at the fringes of civilization and the law. Wanted by the authorities on a score of worlds, by officials of the Federation, the Romulan Star Empire, and the Klingon Empire, there is few places where this woman can go and not have to watch her back.

Wanted for more crimes than can be easily listed here, the more important ones include extortion, blackmail, smuggling, theft (Grand Larceny), espionage, and hijacking as well as for a number of murders, Devries has been a criminal all of her adult life.

Her family background is unknown although it is known that she is originally from Betazed.

Her only confirmed blood relative is her estranged son Eric McDermott, who has no further knowledge of his family tree than what his mother told him, which was nothing.

Hobbies

As might be expected Devries is known for drunken debauches and spending weeks at a time under the influence of various illegal substances.

Medical History

Little is known of her physical condition although it is clear that Devries is a sociopath with psychopathic tendencies. Known for violent rages and an almost uncontrollable temper it has been hypothesized that her complete lack of any type of empathic or telepathic talents may be the result of a rare condition that affects Betazoids. The fact that she is so obviously mentally unstable is also an indicator of this condition.

Awards

Voted most likely to die in a rapidly expanding ball of flaming debris and gases by the Orion Syndicate on Stardate 2401.06.06
