Background
Robert Sykes is from a long line of Starfleet counselors and Medical personnel. He was the only child or James and Patricia Sykes and was expected to become a Starfleet doctor, with aspirations of being Chief Medical Officer someday. However, Robert wanted more excitement, so instead, his career branched out a different way, as an officer, in the Starfleet Marines.
