Jewort Trewe as a Lieutenant
Early Life
Jewort was born on 2356.09.21 on Rigel IV.
Starfleet Academy
Entered 2372, graduated 2375.
First Assignment, USS Alcazar
Trewe's first assignment was on the Prometheus Class vessel (first launched 2375), USS Alcazar. The spaceframe was of a new and extremely revolutionary design. Trewe was one of several scientists put on board to study the impact of time over the mutli-vector systems and attempt to improve on the division systems. While he was just a scientific assistant, he proved himself to be very talented and went on to author several widely published reports on the spaceframe and vessel systems overall. Many of Trewe's ideas for changes were incorporated into future swapouts with the Prometheus Class.

Second Assignment, USS Triton
Trewe worked on the Luna Class starships, first commissioned in 2379. These starships were engineering marvels for the time period designed for deep space exploration after a time period of relative peace began for Starfleet. The first Luna Class vessel was the USS Titan, captained by William T. Riker. While Trewe did not work directly on that ship, he was on the sister ship, the Triton. Particular to his work was how to incorporate workable living arrangements for such a biologically diverse crew. The Luna Class vessels generally supported the most racially diverse groups in Starfleet history. During his time on the Triton, Trewe also found ways to boost energy containment fields and the shield matrix. These changes would be incorporated in to future Luna Class designs, as well as future spaceframe designs of crafts. Trewe found himself promoted during this tour to a position of responsibilty involving energy containment field research, heading the sub-department.

Third Assignment, USS Nagasaki
After completing his work on the USS Triton in 2385, Jewort was moved to work on field testing for a new Perimeter Patrol Vessel for use on the boarder of the Neutral Zone with the Romulan Star Empire. At the time of his assignment, the Archer Class spaceships were assigned an NX designation and only three had been built, the USS Archer, the USS Caladon and the USS Nagasaki. Jewort took the lead on the ship he was stationed on, working on various problems with craft mobility and weapons arrangement. The small ship was easy to make manoeuverable, but difficulties ensued when firepower of any significant strength was added. Jewort had to find some way to make the Nakasaki both functional and effective. The efforts of Jewort and his team were a success and the Archer Class starship is still in wide use for patrol services.

Fourth Assignment, Utopia Planitia
Jewort's successes with the Archer Class starships led to his transfer to Utopia Planitia shipyards where he worked in the advanced theorhetical department. Jewort found working with people on these shipyards to be generally insufferable. They did not wish to incorporte design plans that he had based on practical knowledge of spaceflight and instead would ignore his ideas and base design on theories. Finally, annoyed and embittered, Jewort requested transfer, actively stalling his rank progression. Jewort was placed 'on leave until further notice' as punishment for turning his back on what should have been the most prestigious position for his profession by Admiral Doenitz. It was not until Admiral Lodonna asked Jewort to work as a major instrument in his new Phoenix Spacedock that Jewort returned to fully active service.

Fifth Assignment, Spacedock Phoenix
Finally on Spacedock Phoenix, Jewort found a fair amount of satisfaction. Despite being a 51 year old Lieutenant, Jewort's ideas and applications were being followed. Jewort created many innovative ideas for the shield matrix of the Sovereign Class vessels and worked on holographic systems with a larger team for the Keltoi Class vessels to improve both Strategic Operations and Tactical Stations. Jewort was instrumental in the development of the Indefatigable Class starships, due to his work on the Prometheus Class vessels they so closely resemble. When the USS Dennison was captured by the 52nd Fleet and brought to Spacedock Phoenix, Trewe headed the group refitting the experimental vessel. He still, in rare bursts of excitement, exclaims that he added a few surprises on the Dennison.

Sixth Assignment, USS Dennison
Due to the fact that Trewe started working on the Indefatigable Class when it was in the planning stage and continued doing so when the Dennison came to dock, he feels a special responsibility and love for the craft. Its for this reason that he requested to remain onboard as Chief Science Officer.
