The USS Kelman is a refit Miranda Class starship serving Starfleet as a light escort along the Cardassian - Federation Border near Romulan Space.
In 2414, the Kelman was captained by Commander Liam O'Neill the father of Lieutenant Eian O'Neill assigned to the USS Rosenante.
